I grew up in Tasmania and started riding at the age of 7. In Tassie you did everything from games to showing to eventing as there wasn’t enough of anyone discipline but eventing was always my main love.
When I finished school I moved to Victoria to pursue a career with horses. I reached 3* level shortly after with my horse Rivendell Heritage. I moved onto the Mornington Peninsula and started my own business coaching and training, during my time there I produced a number of 1, 2 &3* horses and coached many young riders to 1* and beyond.
In 2006 my partner Nina and I made the decision to combine our business and move to Ballarat. We breed, break in and do further training of competition horses and coach riders at home and all over the state. I currently have a team of 6 event horses with Sargeant Crisp at 4* level, Ballahowe Paramount at 3*, Ballahowe Osprey & Ballahowe Wildside at 1* level and soon to going them at 1* level my two 105 horses Ballahowe Ayurvedic and Alby Talkative.
I am currently aiming to do Adelaide 4* again and am keen to take some horses to Europe to compete in the next few years.
