Interpath is a pioneering Australian joint health company specialising in the research and development of advanced, scientifically proven products.
Our signature range, developed for people and animals, represents a breakthrough in the treatment of joint injury and degenerative diseases such as arthritis and osteoporosis. Bringing together patented, premium quality natural ingredients with the latest in molecular and cellular biology techniques, Interpath products work towards repairing and restoring damaged joints, and actively maintaining joint health.
The regenerative power of our exclusive active ingredient, Epiitalis, is a game-changer within the joint health industry, which, in the past, often limited its focus to pain relief and symptom management. As leaders in joint health, our dedication to evolving the science of our field is ongoing. We are deeply proud of the trust our customers place in us to guide them on the path of leading happier, healthier and more active lives.
Interpath’s story began with the devoted owners of an arthritic family pet, and their quest for something extraordinary: a scientifically proven natural joint health product that could be taken long-term, without any side effects. In 2000, our first formula – Sasha’s Blend – was launched.
The dedicated pet owners were none other than our founders, Dan and Corina Bright, who were driven to act after noticing their beloved Shepherd/Rottweiler cross, Sasha, was showing signs of lameness after exercise.
Already well acquainted with the human health industry, Dan and Corina were highly dissatisfied with the only veterinary treatment option available to ease Sasha’s pain – nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Known for a range of common side effects and health risks, NSAIDs were not a viable long-term option for Sasha, who was just 11 years old at the time.
Seeing an opportunity to help not only Sasha, but also countless treasured pets suffering the debilitating effects of arthritis, Dan and Corina acted. As well as using their own expertise, they contracted scientific facilities to research joint function and look for natural actives and combinations that would provide outstanding results in the promotion of joint function and mobility in dogs and cats.
After significant research and subsequent field trials, Sasha’s Blend – named, of course, after Sasha – became the first Australian-developed natural arthritis treatment to achieve veterinary registration with the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) in 2001.
Thanks to Dan and Corina’s ingenuity, Sasha’s Blend gave Sasha her quality of life back. She ran and went swimming without pain, enjoying a wonderful life to the grand age of 18 – an incredible achievement and a wonderful testament to the effects of her namesake product.
Since then, Interpath has continued to expand, with an ongoing focus on research and development in the scientific field of joint health. We recently discovered our new, patented active ingredient, Epiitalis, after three years of ground-breaking trial work. A plant-based oil extract with a proven ability to repair and restore damaged joints, Epiitalis is the cornerstone of our subsequent formula combinations. Today, Interpath’s product range stretches across Sasha’s Blend and 4CYTE™ joint health supplements for dogs and horses. In 2017, we launched OSTEO-RESTORE for humans, our advanced new formula for bone and joint health.
Our products are currently available in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Africa and Taiwan with plans to launch in additional countries already in progress.
"the results are nothing short of incredible. Winter is a particularly tough time with osteoarthritis, with the last few winters seeing me confined indoors due to the pain. Fast forward to winter 2018, which has been a shocker, and I can't believe the fact that I'm pain free this year!"
